How to add recitation

This document demonstrates a step-by-step tutorial to add a new offline recitation pack (.recit.zip file) to Zekr. Please note that this instruction works only for *.recit.zip packages introduced from Zekr 0.7.5 beta 4. For installing online .properties recitations, refer to this article.

First download your offline recitation pack from resource page. Now follow recitation pack installation steps described below.

Step 1
Choose Tools > Add menu item.

Step 2
Choose one recitation pack file from open dialog

Step 3
Select importing option. Select Me only if you don't want other users of this computer to see the recitation (will copy files into your workspace). Select All users, if you want other users to see this recitation in Zekr (will copy files into Zekr installation folder). All users option requires write permission to the folder Zekr is installed

Step 4
A progress bar is shown indicating how much of the recitation is imported. You should wait until the progress bar is finished, when a message is automatically shown (next step).
