- In the beginning of 20th century a two-volume "Qor'an Tafsire" ("Tafseer of the Qur'an") was published. Mullah Noghman lived in the first half of the 19th century. When his teacher, `Abdunnasir Qursawi, didn't return from Hajj, Noghman took upon himself teaching a number of subjects, which had been introduced by his mentor. Moreover, he started editing unfinished books of the scholar. Work on Qursawi's "Hafti-yak" induced him to start writing independent theological works, and in the course of time his survey in Quranic exegesis turned out to above-mentioned Nughman's tafseer.

- The tafseer, of course, was written using the Arabic script. Later, during to Soviet policy, the Tatar writing system become based on the Latin, and then, on the Russian script. This could cause oblivion of the tafseer. In the second half of the 20th century, during the Soviet period, a person named Nurullah Moflukhunov transliterated Noghman's tafseer into the modern Tatar script, which was published in the beginning of 90s in Moscow. It is said that Nurullah's text contained his own additions to the tafseer (as far as I understand - words like, "Here is the biggest Qur'anic sura ends" (after Surat-al-Baqarah), etc.) Later, this edition was, possibly - violating the author's rights, replicated abundantly; but new copied didn't contain Nurullah's own commentaries. This is how the Holy Qur'an has returned to almost every Tatar family after the fall of the Communist regime.
